The only Certified Professional Photographer in Ripley, New York and one of two in Chautauqua County! Stephanie Cunningham got her start in photography at the age of 9 when she received her first camera. Her love of taking pictures continued throughout school and she could always be found with a camera in hand. Her education includes completing a 3 year course in Commercial Art and Design from Erie County AVTS and pursuing Photography/Multimedia at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. A start in portraiture began at Kinderfoto and continued with Sonney's Photography, American Studios, Olan Mills Studios and JC Penney Portraits. Besides creating her art from her home studio, Stephanie also lends her talent to Lorei Portraits in Erie, PA. Continued training includes participating in workshops hosted by such photographers as Clay Blackmore with Jane Conner-ziser, Beth Forester, Michael Barton, John Metcalfe, Paul Rogers, Michael Redford, Will Crockett and Doug Gordon. Stephanie has also taught at several PPSNYS sections and in Pennsylvania and was selected as a speaker at the regional workshop Photo North East in 2012. She is a member of Professional Photographers of America, American Society of Photography, Professional Photographer Society of New York, and the Southwestern New York Association of Professional Photographers. Stephanie is a Certified Professional Photographer. She is also into her 5th year as President of SNAPP. In 2014, Stephanie recieved her Photographic Craftsman degree from PPA. She is now working on her Master of Photography degree and looks forward to meeting the requirements for a Fellowship in the A.S. of P.
